Greet someone, order food, ask for directions, handle numbers, prices and the time, and describe what you see, in Spanish, out loud and from memory. For absolute beginners: about a thousand words and phrases ranked by how often they occur in spoken Spanish, always taught inside the sentence that uses them. Native recordings where sound is the answer, as in pero and perro; no grammar drill, no conjugation tables.
