The free part — 200 AI credits and a course's worth of built cards, with no card on file — exists so you never pay for something you haven't used for real. This page covers what happens with money after that. Payments for LearnReally Pro ($9.99/mo, or $64/yr annually) are processed by our payment processor — the merchant of record named at checkout — which issues all refunds to your original payment method.
The free AI costs nothing, ever.
The free credits and built cards need no card, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund: you decide whether to subscribe after you have used the product for real. Everything you built with them stays in your account on the free plan.
Monthly subscriptions.
Cancel any time; Pro stays active until the end of the paid month and no further charges follow. If you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or hit a genuine billing error, contact us — that's always refunded in full. If you simply forgot to cancel, write within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it if the plan wasn't meaningfully used in that period.
Annual subscriptions.
Within 14 days of an annual charge (first or renewal): full refund on request, no questions, provided usage in those days was evaluative rather than a year's worth of studying compressed into two weeks. After 14 days annual plans aren't refunded pro-rata, but you keep Pro until the period ends. Consumers in the EU/UK have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right, which this policy meets or exceeds.
If the product failed you.
If a defect on our side made Pro substantially unusable for a sustained period, tell us — we'll fix it and credit or refund the affected time. That's not a legal nicety; a study tool you couldn't study with shouldn't cost money.
Requesting a refund.
Email support@learnreally.com from your account email with the charge date. We answer within 2 business days; approved refunds are issued by the payment processor and typically land in 5–10 business days depending on your bank. A refunded subscription drops the account to the free plan — your decks, cards, and review history remain yours.
The one honest caveat.
Repeatedly subscribing, consuming a month of AI credits and built cards, and refunding is abuse, not a refund — we reserve the right to decline those. Everyone else gets the benefit of the doubt.
